Jackson, MO November 15, 2016. – Liberty Utilities would like to thank the community for their support in the success of the first annual Pink Up Golf Scramble. With the assistance of over 100 participants and many sponsors, Liberty Utilities was able to donate over $8,000 to Saint Francis Healthcare System’s Pink Up campaign.
“We are proud of this community and their support of our efforts to give back,” said Mike Beatty, President of Liberty Utilities Midstates, “without them we could not have accomplished this remarkable success.”
Saint Francis launched Pink Up in 2010 to raise awareness of breast cancer in Southeast Missouri and to encourage early detection. Proceeds from the Pink Up campaign benefit Dig for Life, a Saint Francis fund that provides free mammograms and other cancer support services for local women who otherwise could not afford them. Each $100 raised through fundraising and events provides a free mammogram.
