If you smell gas please follow these steps:
Check to be sure your range and oven controls are turned off. Do NOT turn of the gas supply to any appliance.
Don't operate electrical appliances or switches. This can cause sparks.
Don't use lighters or matches and do not smoke..
Leave immediately. Instruct others to leave.
When you arrive at a safe location, call the Liberty Utilities emergency number or dial 911 from a mobile phone or neighbor’s phone. Dial 711 if you are hearing impaired. Don’t send an email.

If you suspect a leak inside your home or business
DO NOT open doors or windows in an attempt to ventilate. Instruct others to leave and evacuate the premises immediately. Close the door behind you.
Do not use electrical switches, telephones, appliances, garage door openers, etc.
Do not use lighters or matches and do not smoke.
DO NOT turn off your gas meter. This valve should only be operated by a qualified technician.
