Attention Liberty Gas Customers in Hannibal, Missouri
Liberty crews responded to a report of a damaged natural gas line at 10 a.m. this morning near Highway MM in Hannibal, Missouri. They stopped the release of gas, and for safety, shut off gas service impacting approximately 90 customers.
Our crews expect to complete repairs around 2 p.m. today. They will then go door to door to perform a safety inspection and relight pilot lights. If you are not home when they come by, they will leave a door tag with a phone number for you to call to schedule a visit.
For safety, if you smell natural gas or otherwise suspect a natural gas leak, leave the area immediately. Avoid introducing any sources of ignition to the area and call 9-1-1, and call Liberty's gas emergency line at 1-855-644-8134.
